Well I have had it for a month. I usly get depressed about my bff, Katyln. She moved away in the summer and I've been depressed since then. My mom unfrotiently thought "How can a 9 year old have deprission?'' We later found out when I went to a parcil hospital. It always get's me sad. Crying or Very sad I wonderd how I could keep it under control.

Well, I have struggled with depression, too, and, hate to say this, but you can't control it, but you can control its effects. I usually get it Sunday nights. Trust me, I know about friends not being around, I have been betrayed by some and had to turn on others. The only advice I can give you is to always remember your friend, but don't dwell on her. Remember all the memories, as it does help. And you know, for me anyways, it might hurt to do the things that you used to do. For me, it was playing certain video games that just tore me apart. Try to avoid things like that until you heal up, but that won't happen quickly, not to be Johnny Raincloud here, but, take it from who knows, pain will take a long time to heal.
I don't know what pains you with memories that lead into depression, but again, try your best to limit those activities until you "harden up" a little bit. Tough skin will come with age, though, don't worry about it.
Does that help a little bit?

That, it is something you should do. I've made the mistake of not crying, and boy, does it make life harder. Just, whenever you need to cry, go somewhere private and cry all you need to.

Yeah, depression isn't fun. I went through when I was around 15, my girlfriend who I had been dating since early middle school broke up with me, and then my best friend got so involved with sports he barely had any time to spend with me. Samurai65 pretty much summed up what I was going to say. Follow her advice and you'll get through it.

Hey, you know, dude, don't worry. I feel for you, I know how it feels. The only thing I can tell you is what I have already said. Give it time and keep discussing your symptoms here and we'll help out.  Wink
Again, don't listen to psycho-babbles, they don't listen or really know about things.

Hey, clrocks, if it makes you feel any better, I have to take meds for depression now.
